METRON 04 PR
Segmented plate metal detector for the examination of non-woven fabrics and films
Segmented metal detectors of the METRON 04 PR type are used for the position-accurate examination of films, non-woven fabrics or technical textiles. They represent a high-quality option for metal detection in our portfolio of plate detectors. Typically, material with a thickness of less than 20 mm is examined. As standard, they enable the inspection of products up to more than 10,000 mm wide. In this case, assembly can be carried out horizontally or vertically.

Coordinated variants are available depending on the area of application. Special versions for thicker material, high product moisture or with a more precise resolution (standard 300 mm, optionally 150 mm) are also available, as is air rinsing for hot material or holders for high product speeds.

Depending on the type of electronics used, our systems can already be connected as standard via analogue signals, various bus systems or Ethernet to PLCs, process control systems or other machines in the line. With digital networking the OPC UA protocol, in addition to other protocols, is used here for the smooth transmission of operating conditions and production-critical values.
